Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Kosh India, the portfolio-website platform for interior designers operated at kosh-india.com. By creating an account you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.

The service

Kosh India lets you build a portfolio website from a template, edit its content, and publish it on a subdomain of kosh-india.com. We aim for high availability but the service is provided “as is”; features may evolve, and we will communicate material changes that affect published sites.

Your account

  • You must provide accurate registration details and keep them current.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Phone verification may be required before publishing tools unlock.
  • One person or studio may not register accounts to circumvent plan limits.

Plans, billing, and GST

  • The Free plan is free indefinitely, with the limits shown on the pricing page.
  • Pro is a monthly subscription at the price shown on the pricing page, plus 18% GST, billed in Indian rupees through Razorpay. A GST tax invoice is issued for every payment.
  • You can cancel Pro at any time; Pro features remain active until the end of the paid period, after which your account returns to Free-plan limits.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we retry and notify you before downgrading.

Your content

  • You retain all rights to the text and images you upload. You grant us the licence needed to host, process, optimize, and display that content as your published website.
  • You must own or have permission to use everything you publish — including project photography — and you are responsible for what your site contains.
  • Published sites may be listed on our public explore page; you can opt out in your dashboard.

Acceptable use

  • No unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or abusive content or behaviour.
  • No attempts to probe, overload, or compromise the platform’s security.
  • We may moderate, unpublish, or remove content that violates these terms, and suspend or terminate accounts for serious or repeated violations. Where practical, we notify you and explain why.

Subdomains

Your site address is generated from your studio name. Subdomains remain ours; certain labels are reserved, and we may reclaim a subdomain when required for legal, security, or trademark reasons — with notice and a replacement wherever possible. When you delete a site or account, its subdomain becomes available to others.

Termination and deletion

You can delete sites or your whole account at any time from the dashboard; deletion is permanent and follows the process described in the privacy policy, including the statutory retention of tax records. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the content of designer sites.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New Delhi, India.
